This foundation was founded in honor of Aaron Gillming who was tragically killed at the hands of a habitual drunken driver who held a twenty one year history of drunken driving convictions. Aaron left behind a nearly five year old son, Ryder Gillming.
Unfortunately, Aaron marked the fourth family member to fall victim to a drunken driver, for his first cousin Lamanda Gillming along with her two small children, four year old Rayvyn and six year old Tylan were also tragically killed several years prior Aaron's death and by yet another drunken driver.
Aaron's family knows all to well the pain and heartache of loosing a loved one from what is actually a preventable murder.
The foundation is a nonprofot 501c-3 organization created to honor all victims of drunken drivers and their surviving family members. When a child or close family member is tragically killed by a drunken driver, we as surviving family members are also forever changed. The Foundation is our way of "Stepping Up" with "Victims Aiding Victims of Drunken Drivers".
