"The Aaron Gillming Foundation" was named in honor of Aaron Gillming whose life was tragically cut short by an habitual drunken driver who held a twenty one year history of drunken driving convictions.
At the time of Aaron's tragic death, his only son Ryder was only a month from turning five years old. He was unfortunately left fatherless, now only memorable photos and fading memories of his beloved father.
Surviving victims of drunken driving all seem to experience the same kind of pain and that is, "This shouldn't have happened....it was a preventable death of our loved one".
Those left behind are also left with a lifetime of various mixed emotions and unanswered questions as to "How could this have happened and why aren't there laws enforced to protect us and our families against these "Potential Murderers"?
Aaron's mother has made it her mission to "Stepp Up" and do something to bring awareness to the effects of drunken driving by honoring all fallen victims and their surviving loved ones through the newly incorporated "The Aaron Gillming Founation".
Unfortunately, Aaron wasn't the only family member to have lost their lives due a drunken driver. Aaron's first cousin Lamanda Gillming along with her two small children six year old Tylan and four year old Rayvyn were also tragically killed several years prior Aaron's death and by yet another drunken driver.
With "The Aaron Gillming Foundation" we are making a difference with "Victims Helping Victims" of drunken driving fatalities.
